Peek A Boo, Who’ll Nuke Who?

   This past week Iranian lies fell from the heavens like contaminated snowflakes in nuclear winter. There is another ominous Iranian weapons facility.

   Quickly, hang dog British Prime Minister Gordon (Charlie) Brown and French President tricky Nicky Nicolas Sarkozy were muzzle to rump with Barack Obama sternly drawing sand lines on their new world order etch a sketch. Remarkably, marionette Medvedev, the Russian President, suggested that ‘dagnabbit, we’re mad as hell!

   Sadly, even mythical pathetic Dean Wormer’s double secret probation of the Animal House fraternity seemed more convincing.

   It’s criminally incompetent to think Iran’s two decade march towards madness will end well. A holocaust denying regime that exports terror, rigs elections, swears to annihilate Israel and whose currency watermark is an atom hovering over its Natanz nuclear facility does not have benign “green” intentions.

   What to do?

   Stop defining the problem with a western world view. Sanction efforts have not swayed the scimitar of Tehran's appetite to join the big boy bomb club and theocrats condoning terror are not too convincing that nuclear power is “unclean”. Furthermore, the Russians and Chinese want lucrative Iranian markets open and money always finds a way.

   This is deeper than weapons. Three decades of state sponsored terror have exacted a multi-continent toll of carnage against this nation. Iran also tortures its own. Evil is real. It leaps from the loins of man since time immemorial. You do not negotiate with it; you do not psychoanalyze its dysfunctional childhood and for God’s sake, you don’t apologize or appease.

   On Thursday, the nuclear boys club is going to have a chat with this little upstart about sanctions. Iran’s economy is not strong. They have to import a huge amount of refined petroleum products (principally gasoline). But how is the “United Nunca” supposed to do it and won’t Venezuela ignore it and help their new pals?

   We may have to act unilaterally. The Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act, with over 300 co-sponsors (its companion in the Senate has 75 co-sponsors) is tough. All refined petroleum products are blocked, anyone doing business with them does none with us and all dollars that clear US banks that touch Iran can be stopped. Senators Lieberman, Bayh and Kyl are also telling Mr. Obama to get the stick out as diplomacy has never worked before.

   Remember, these yahoos just lit extra long range Yom Kippur candles after their Quran was found in the cookie jar. Moreover, sanctions often are sanctimonious silliness against evil, idiocy and idealism.

   What about a military solution? An American or Israeli strike could cause war. Israelis act like they invented poker, taking understandable risks others do not. But this is not the 1981 Iraqi Osirak reactor. What will Iran do? What is the clandestine world aftermath? Moreover, an American muster to arms is a bit disingenuous for the present apoplectic apologizing white house warrior’s.

   However, a growing sympathetic Iranian populace and world tired of wars and tin horn Tehran tyrants might tolerate engineering regime change from within and without.

   “Candy bomb” every inroad to the courageous Iranian people, in and out of country, with the truth. Bombs away with crippling sanctions and don’t let up. Demand white glove inspections and disassembly of all things nuclear. Assert unswerving Israeli support. Do whatever is needed to stabilize futures markets and show them American intolerance of evil. The 1945 bomb saved lives, the planet and assured peace. Use what we know about its power. Apologize to allies and until this is over, put missiles back in Europe.

   Mr. Obama, tap your narcissistic need for legacy, drop the “Heath Deform Bill” and cut the “Crap and Charade” global warming ruse. Lead with America’s right, its best punch of all! Drop the rhetoric, grab the raw hide and saddle up. Get this wrong and they might call it the Obamapocalypse.
